Judeo-Christian rituals are a deeply expressed through the actions. Of specific importance is the actions of the hands. Such actions are displayed through exhibition of offering, prayer, and blessing. In Prayer, she recites the prayers of the rosary (Gory Be, Our Father, Hail Mary, Apostles Creed) while stretching and releasing an elastic band, instead of using traditional rosary beads to count prayers and complete the veneration cycle. This separates the importance of actions and words from their ritual grounding, as fidgeting with an object in the hands, like a rubber band, signifies restlessness and uneasiness rather then spiritual meditation.
